Thermowood is the ecological alternative to tropical hardwoods. Domestic woods such as pine or ash are subjected to a process without chemical additives, which is carried out at high heat and humidity. The cell structures are modified in such a way that the water absorption capacity is greatly reduced. This makes the planks less susceptible to wood-damaging fungal or insect infestation and gives them a similar durability to tropical wood and achieve a greatly reduced swelling/shrinkage behavior.

Our Thermo Pine decking boards impress with their long service life and with their grooved or brushed surfaces, they are a visual highlight for any terrace. Untreated pine is given a modern look after greying or, if desired, can be given a warm and rich color with regular treatment with decking oil.
