Thermo-wood is the ecological alternative to tropical hardwoods. Domestic woods such as pine or ash are subjected to a process without chemical additives, which changes the cell structures under high heat and humidity in such a way that the water absorption capacity is greatly reduced. This makes the planks less susceptible to wood-damaging fungal or insect infestation, gives them a similar durability to tropical wood and greatly reduces swelling and shrinkage.

Our Thermo Ash decking boards in a smooth or brushed finish impress not only with their durability but also with their natural and pleasant feel. Untreated ash flooring takes on a modern look after greying or, if desired, can shine in a warm and rich color over the long term with regular treatment with decking oil.
