In projects where an old patio already exists, the question always arises as to whether the already laid slabs need to be completely replaced and the floor prepared again. This is often not necessary, especially for slabs that have been laid on gravel or concrete and have settled over the years. In the case of this terrace of a private house, the existing slabs formed a perfect base for a new construction. By using our MICRO terrace pedestal in conjunction with our new FLAT-Isostep rail, a construction height of just 32 mm was sufficient to lay the new slabs.
