Norderney Dünensender Youth Hostel

Not far from the Norderney landmark, the lighthouse, lies the Dünensender youth hostel in the eastern part of the popular North Sea island. In the midst of the unique dune landscape, the outdoor terrace was also completely redesigned as part of the extension.
The challenge of this project was not only the sophisticated shape of the 200 m² terrace, but also the construction, which had to be adapted to the shape of the terrain. A circumferential staircase with the Vario system was planned directly into the construction.
The decking had to meet high requirements in terms of stain and color resistance as well as ease of maintenance due to the heavily frequented use. These were met with the WPC Piazza Pro plank.
