Zoo, Cologne

The project at Cologne Zoo provides a new barrier-free shelter that offers all zoo visitors an ideal place to observe the animals, come rain or shine. The Thermo WPC 137 decking can cope with the extremely high usage requirements and does not need to be maintained or treated in the long term. The stairs and ramps were constructed using VARIO, making the platform accessible for children, older visitors, baby carriages and wheelchairs.
